Art of the Lived Experiment

Full-scale gallery exhibition at the Bluecoat, Liverpool (Nov 2014 – Jan 2015). I curated and commissioned works from 30 artists across visual arts media. A 48-page full-colour catalogue, including my introductory essay, was published to accompany the exhibition.

The original exhibition was expanded with co-curator Amanda Cachia and travelled to the UICA Gallery of University of Michigan, Grand Rapids, USA, (April – July 2015). A second, expanded version of the catalogue, reproducing my introductory essay, was published by University of Michigan.

LUPA (Lock Up Performance Art)

A year-long monthly series of low-fi guerrilla performance evenings around a lock-up garage in Hackney, London. Co-curated with Jordan McKenzie and Kate Mahony. (Sept 2011 – Sept 2012), featuring more than 30 international artists over the year.

Sculpture-Performance: Acme Artists Now

A series of events co-curated with Kate Mahony, exploring the legacy of the Acme Gallery (1976 – 82), and inviting original participating artists to make new works at High House Production Park, Essex, (March – June 2014). Supported by the Stephen Cripps Bursary (Acme Studios), and Arts Council England, Grants for the Arts funded.

Live Culture at the Tate Modern

The Live Art Development Agency invited me to curate a showreel of performance-videos by various artists for large-scale projection in a partitioned room as part of the wide-ranging international performance art retrospective, Live Culture (2003).
